Here you will get to know us a bit more and see how we met along with the timeline of festivities on our big day.
April 2022: While having some beers with Kyle's cousin, Mike, at a Philadelphia Union match, Kyle got a message about a girll who matched with him on the dating app STIR (an app for single parents.. not looking for sponsorship or anything). Christine had matched with Kyle on 4.20.22 (nice date to remember). Kyle, playing hard to get, waited a few days to reply to the match. Christine's profile header said "devoted mother with a demanding job in healthcare". Naturally, Kyle assumed she was an Xray tech... little did he know, she was a board certified Pediatrician (Ohh that's a bingo!).
May 2022: The first time they met in person was May 5th, 2022. Christine needed help moving her pool cover to the shed in the backyard. Kyle drove over to assist and to show off his incredibly masculine muscles. After showing this kindness, she agreed to go on a real date. The next week on Friday, May 13th (lucky date 🤔), the two went on their first date to the White Dog Cafe in Glenn Mills, PA. Kyle took a very bold approach on the first date and ordered Deviled Eggs as an appetizer (those jawns were fire). Christine thought it was an odd choice, but she happens to love deviled eggs and thought Kyle's jokes were funny enough that she agreed to go on another date with him.
June 2022 to Present: Christine and Kyle continued on their many dates and adventures throughout the area, trying new restaurants and sharing many laughs and stories of their life. It was when their kids (and dogs) finally met, that they knew this was going to be an amazing journey for them to embark on together.
Over the next 2 years, they developed a profound love for one another and admiration each other's devout love of their kids, family, and life. They spent time traveling to Florida's gulf coast to visit family, exploring Disney World/enjoying the countries of Epcot, and lounging on the beaches of Jamaica. They also had the privilege to be in the pit at their favorite band, Blink-18's concert (Thanks Aunt Lisa!). They share a love of wine and enjoyed exploring wineries and breweries, along with having many weekend adventures with the kids; from aquariums, to zoos, bounce houses and beach trips.
Kyle took the leap and moved in with Christine in November of 2023. This solidified their bond and gave his children and Christine's son best friends and siblings for life.
April 2024: After surviving nearly 5 months living under one roof, Kyle knew Christine was "the one". After obtaining William's blessing, he prepared to ask Christine to marry him.

I was planning on proposing on our trip to Jamaica in April of 2024; however, the ring was not ready in time. I received the email from the jeweler that the ring was ready while sitting in the airport, waiting for our flight to Montego Bay (just my Irish luck, right?!) Once we came back from Jamaica, I went down to Philly to pick up the ring. On May 10th, 2024, Christine and I went to Braeloch Brewery in Kennett Square - this place is very memorable to us. I was beyond nervous to propose and more so to keeping the ring hidden from Christine (I hid the ring inside my computer, like a true nerd). I needed some friendly support from my best mates, Matt, his wife Tori, and Ryan. They were there to help capture the moment and share some pints afterwards.... Thankfully, she said YES!
